The Glacier Ice Arena

The Glacier Ice Arena is Illinois' premier, state-of-the-art ice arena. Come watch a game, or skate in comfortable, modern surroundings. The Glacier was built in 1999, and features two NHL size ice surfaces and has been a place for families to have fun ever since.

The Glacier Ice Arena's modern lobby is bright, spacious and is illuminated with natural light from huge panoramic windows. There is a concessions stand that offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks together with an extensive variety of light snacks. You can keep up with the latest news or follow your favorite teams progress on one of the four high definition TV’s that are ideally located around the lobby.

Whether you want to book a hockey clinic, pay fees, sign up for a learn to skate class or top up your freestyle card you can do it at your convenience.

We are home to the Ice Dogs House League (IDHL) our own in-house youth hockey league, the Glacier Skating Academy, the Glacier Figure Skating Club, the Glacier Adult Hockey League, Hockey Zone, and several other organizations. We invite you to explore the Glacier and learn about our facility and programs.
