| Greetings!
Only
just over a week now until the Ice Dogs invitational, this is
definitely a date for your diary as we have over 70 teams taking part
with appearances from Bobby Hull and the Blackhwks mascot Tommy Hawk.
The
week after that sees the annual performance of the Skating academy's
end of season ice show. This promises to be the best ever and takes
place on Saturday 7th June at 2:30 and 7:30. Some tickets are still
available.
We wish you a happy Memorial day weekend and hope that you can join us for the fun of the forthcoming weekends.
Happy skating,
Chris

Gold for Erica at Adult Nationals
Erica Kaplinski won the gold medal at the recent US Adult National Championships in Lake Placid NY.
Her
interpretation to a Russian Gypsies dance captured the imagination of
the judges to win gold in the Light Entertainment / Comedy section.
Another one of our local skaters to win gold was Cindy Crouse, she won in the ladies freeskate event.
Congratulations to both of them from all of us at the Glacier.

Bobby Hull is guest of honor at the Ice Dogs Invitational
Over
70 teams now participating in the Ice Dogs Invitational from 28th may
until 1st June. This is without doubt one of the biggest events at the
Glacier to date with Blackhawks legend Bobby Hull attending over the
weekend along with the Blackhawks mascot TOMMY HAWK, who will be here during the day on Saturday.
