Don’t forget its Valentines day tomorrow (I only remembered when I wrote the date! Typical Man!!!!!!)

Today the forat figure skating medals will be awarded, it the pairs Free, I am pretty confident that Totmianina and Marinin will win but anything can happen for the silver and bronze.

It should be an exciting night, don’t miss it!

The men 500m speed skating is on today too, I have to do the second run live then run across to the Palevela for the Pairs Free, I wont make the start but will join Simon as soon as I can.

The Speed Skating was fantastic! Gold for the American men. Joey Cheek won by a massive margin, he was the only skater to skate sub 35 seconds and he did it in both races!

I hope you got to see the pairs event, it lived up to the expectations of being a good competition and had plenty of drama. The fall of the Chinese pair on the quad Sal was horrific, I couldn’t believe it when she eventually finished the program and her first element was double axel, triple toe combination. If you want a lesson in courage there is no better example.
