It should be an exciting night, don’t miss it!
The men 500m speed skating is on today too, I have to do the second run live then run across to the Palevela for the Pairs Free, I wont make the start but will join Simon as soon as I can.

The Speed Skating was fantastic! Gold for the American men. Joey Cheek won by a massive margin, he was the only skater to skate sub 35 seconds and he did it in both races!
I hope you got to see the pairs event, it lived up to the expectations of being a good competition and had plenty of drama. The fall of the Chinese pair on the quad Sal was horrific, I couldn’t believe it when she eventually finished the program and her first element was double axel, triple toe combination. If you want a lesson in courage there is no better example.
Here are a few pictures from last night:
This is Ziggy, he sits next to me and commentates for Eurosport in Germany!
